Thalia Carmona

After dedicating most of my time expressing myself in many forms of art, I chose a Career path in Graphic Design. I’m currently a Tattoo Apprentice at Alpha Red Studios. I want to open my own tattoo shop in the future and thought Graphic Design will not only help Achieve this goal, but will sharpen my skills as an artist and give me a new perspective.

As an Electronics Associate I was responsible for zoning, cashiering, freight, and working the photo department, which included building canvases, calendars, photo albums, passports, and helping customers order at the kiosk through a third party vendor. I also helped bring freight to the floor and helped put out the new modular tickets and items. I also helped with phone purchases and phone contracts. I am also bilingual. I speak fluent Spanish, so I spent a lot of my time helping the Spanish speaking customers.

Mods supervisor & front end supervisor| Marshall's | 05/2017-05/2019

When I began working at Marshall's I was hired as a Mod’s supervisor. I was in charge of getting my team together before the store opened and splitting them in groups to scan every single item in the store. After being a mods supervisor for a few months I was promoted as a front end supervisor. Where I would handle returns, encourage my team to promote our credit cards, promote discounts and sales. I was also part of our conference calls, where we would discuss how to get our sales up and share new strategies with the rest of the team!
