I am a recent UW-Madison and Madison College alumna seeking a full-time job in graphic and/or web design. My student and early professional expereince has touched everything from print design and production to website design and development. I am sunshiny, detail-oriented, integrious, passionate about building deep relationships, and desire to be a lifelong learner. I’m looking for an opportunity where I can deeply grow in my skills and relationships.

Design Intern, Credit Union Executive Society
Madison, WI | June 2019 — Present

Paid intern for organization that provides professional devleopment for credit union executives. Create digital marketing collateral on tight deadlines, while adhering to branding guidelines; gather digital assets for website pages and promotions; design print ads and prepare them for processing; work closely with brand and digital experience manager and creative director.

 

Web Design Intern, BluTinuity, LLC
Madison, WI (Remote) | May 2018 — Present

Paid web design intern for small risk management and consulting firm based out of Milwaukee, WI. Primary project included designing and implementing new website and marketing materials. Responsibilities included: organizing wire framing, creating style guide, designing and implementing new website using WIX. Created marketing materials to align with website’s new look, including document, report, and presentation templates. Developed icons for risk assessment reports.


Student Director of Design, Journal of Undergraduate Science and Technology
Madison, WI | August 2018 — May 2019

Published two issues as lead designer for UW-Madison’s only undergraduate STEM research and communication journal. Responsibilities included designing and implementing entire journal layout, including editorial design, typography, master pages, and hierarchy. Gathered images, created infographics, and selected pull quotes for publications. Juggled intricate layout implementation on tight time frames while working closely with Editor-in-Chief to collaborate and exchange ideas.

Madison, WI – May 2018 - May 2019

Member of the student leadership team; took charge of creating printed and digital marketing collateral for fall recruitment, spring break trips, connection cards, and various gatherings. Worked closely with campus director to exchange ideas and see materials through entire printing process. Condensed information-saturated text into clear, attention-seeking and easy-to-read materials. Other leadership responsibilities included designing slideshow presentations, organizing social events, and leading Bible studies.
